Due to the weather, the "Reverse Parade" scheduled for this evening has been postponed to tomorrow, Friday May 29 from 6-7PM.
A reminder this week, starting on Tuesday May 26 students and families will have an opportunity to collect their belongings and return any school-issued supplies and equipment. Middle and High school students will also clean out their lockers. Students should come on their designated day between 10:00AM and 2:00PM. On Tuesday, May 26 students with the last name beginning with A through E are scheduled, Wednesday, May 27, students with last name F - J, Thursday, May 28, students with last name K through Q, and Friday, May 29, students with last name R - Z are scheduled. More details and specific health and safety information can be found in your email. If you have any questions, please contact your building secretary or call our hotline at 664-2200 x.1234.
DC Music Booster Fundraiser pick up is today from 11am-1pm in the MS "S" curve. Remember some of these items are frozen so it is very important that someone is there to pick them up. The school is not allowing the boosters to store any items in the school freezer if they are not picked up today, and our music booster’s personal freezer space is extremely limited, so please don't forget. We will also have contactless delivery instructions for you when you pick things up. These are similar to what the school uses for lunches. See you today!

5th grader, Brenna Lindberg, participated in Mrs. Howk's google classroom assignment on Westward Expansion.The assignment was to create a diorama of a Westward Expansion theme or to build a log cabin from sticks or a sod house. It didn't take Brenna long to talk her big brother Drew into helping her! Looks like they had alot of fun doing this one!!!

Students have been sending Mrs. Byrd artwork during our quarantine weeks! Some artwork comes from activities found in the art Google Classroom and other artwork is students' own creations! Mrs. Byrd is very proud of these kids for keeping busy and creating at home!
In light of the incoming weather, there will be extra food distributed today. We will be sending meals for today (Thursday), tomorrow (Friday), and Backpack Buddies all in today's pick up/delivery. Our food service family is working hard to have it all ready to go! #DCstrong
