FOR STUDENTS
Davis County Middle School is located in rural Southeast Iowa. There are approximately 340 students in our 5th - 8th grade facility. Classes run from 8:15am - 3:22pm. Class periods are 47 minutes in length.

Student's courses include English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and "Specials". Specials are courses rotated on a 5 day cycle and include: Physical Education, Music, Art, Library, and Project Lead the Way. Band, Choir and Exploratory courses are electives offered to 7th and 8th grade students.
Davis County Middle School also has an additional 30 minute Advisory period daily. Advisory time is designed to provide an extra opportunity for students who may need additional support in a specific curricular area.
