We are writing to you today to ask for your input in a very, very important process and decision facing our School Board in the coming weeks. As you are likely aware, Superintendent Dan Maeder has announced his retirement at the end of the 2024-2025 school year (June 30, 2025). We have contracted with Grundmeyer Leader Services to assist us in finding our next Shared Superintendent. The first step in this process is to elicit input from our district patrons through a Stakeholder Survey. This survey will provide us with invaluable input on what the priorities are in our next Shared Superintendent. Please see the enclosed Stakeholder Invite - simply click on the link at the bottom or on SHARED SUPERINTENDENT STAKEHOLDER SURVEY near the top of the document - either link will take you directly to the survey. The survey will close on December 20 - please assist us with this search by completing the survey. Grundmeyer Leader Services will provide a cumulative report on the results of the survey; this will be used to help guide our search. We will post the Stakeholder Survey Report once it is completed and reviewed. Thanks in advance for your timely participation in the survey.
There is a joint meeting of the Davis County CSD and Moulton-Udell CSD Boards of Education scheduled for December 16 with Grundmeyer Leader Services to plan out the entire search; we will share more detailed information with the public following that meeting.
