Davis County Schools has diligently worked to provide summer meals for children for many years. This 2024 summer food program will run differently.
This year, June 3rd, 2024, thru August 12th, 2024, the food service department will run a rural non-congregate meal service.
This will allow families to pick up and take-home meals for the entire week.
Each child would receive breakfast and lunch for seven days.
• Breakfast would include an entree, fruit, and milk.
• Lunch would include an entree, fruit, vegetables, and milk.
• Meals would include both fresh and frozen items, all in individual packages.
Any child under the age of 18, regardless of economic status, qualifies for a free 7-day meal and milk package.
