The Davis County Elementary School will be hosting an information session to provide parents/guardians of Second grade students with the opportunity to learn more about the Care for Kids program and what their kids will learn in the classroom. The Care for Kids program focuses on helping children with the following topics: feelings, bodies, secrets, empathy, asking for permission and asking for help. We will be using anatomically correct terms throughout the lessons. This is not a sex education program. The materials will be available for parents/guardians to preview. After previewing the materials, parents/guardians will have an opportunity to opt their children out of the program.
This informational session will be held TONIGHT Monday, March 4, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. in the elementary library.
All parents, guardians and grandparents of children in Second grade are welcome and encouraged to attend the information session. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the elementary office.
