Dear K-4 Parent/Guardian,
It’s getting closer to the end of the semester and in a normal year there would be an elementary holiday concert on the calendar. However, this is not a normal year and having hundreds of students, relatives, and community members in the same gym isn’t feasible under the current conditions. We still want to give students an opportunity to spread holiday cheer, but it will look a little different.
This year, during the week of December 7th, we will be asking students to wear nice/festive attire on the day their class has music and they will be recorded performing their holiday song in class. These recordings will be posted on SeeSaw for easy access. We hope that you understand that this was not an easy decision, but a necessary one for the health and safety of all students and concert attendees. Thank you for your support of Davis County music and we hope you have a happy holiday season!
